Community – Experimentation – Originality – Diversity
Cultural Association Kulttuuribingo ry was founded in 2012. Bingo maintains the Ränni gallery and an artists’ collaboration space in Pikisaari.
The Ränni Gallery is officially part of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture program.
Over the years, Kulttuuribingo’s activities have been supported by organizations such as the Finnish Cultural Foundation, Kone Foundation, Arts promotion centre Finland and the City of Oulu.
Ränni Gallery exhibition year 2026
Ränni is a bold and experimental, artist-run gallery, maintained by the Cultural Association Kulttuuribingo ry. The 2026 program is a fresh take on contemporary art from the northern region. Throughout the year, the gallery offers a diverse range of exhibitions that can be seen 24/7. You can find Ränni by the Oulu station tunnel – stop by the art for a moment, any time!
ACCESSIBILITY INFO:
The Oulu station tunnel can be accessed from two directions along the light traffic route. When coming from Oulu railway station, there is a wheelchair ramp and a lift to the platforms.
Are you looking for a workspace?
Vintti is the artist workspace of Kulttuuriyhdistys Kulttuuribingo ry. Vintti is located in the Kutomo building of the Pikisaari Cultural Factory, near Oulu city center. The cozy 70-square-meter space was rented in December 2019. Currently, 15 artists rent workspace in Vintti. Vintti is a discrimination-free zone, and all tenants must commit to promoting equality and non-discrimination through their own actions.
Vintti was formerly a classroom. The space offers private workstations and two large project tables as shared workstations. Two of the shared desks are adjustable electric desks. The rental fee for a private workstation is €60/month, while a shared workstation costs €40/month. At the moment, there are eight private workstations available, and up to seven artists can rent space at the shared workstations simultaneously. Artists using the shared workstations store their tools on shelves to ensure the project tables remain available for the next user. Despite the large number of artists, Vintti provides a peaceful work environment, and the space can occasionally be reserved for private use.
Beyond the physical workspace, Vintti fosters a vibrant, multidisciplinary arts community, where emerging and professional artists work side by side. Visitors are welcome during Open studio days, which take place a few times a year or you can book private visit. Those interested in renting a workstation can join the waiting list by sending an email to oulunbingo@gmail.com. Please specify whether you wish to rent a private or shared workstation.
